A leading legal firm in Scotland is seeking a Family Law Solicitor to join their Glasgow office with a hybrid working approach. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years PQE, excellent understanding of court practice, and experience in diverse family law matters. Job description

One of our clients is looking for a Family Law Solicitor to join their team.

This permanent role would be based in our client's Glasgow office with a hybrid working approach. As a Family Law Associate the successful candidate will be working with a partner led team of professionals who have a range of skills and expertise.

The ideal candidate will be 5 years + PQE and will be client focused, proactive and, demonstrate a positive attitude with a flexible approach. Other requirements for the role include:

  • Excellent understanding of court practise and procedure.
  • Extensive experience in diverse family law matters in Scotland.
  • Have a natural compassion and empathy. Especially when addressing emotional and sensitive matters.

The role will involve:

  • Managing your own caseload and handle a portfolio of family law client cases.
  • Maintain responsibility for the written and oral advocacy of litigate matters.
  • Offer guidance and support to other colleagues.
  • Communicate effectively with the department's Partners about all relevant matters.
  • Actively participate in business development opportunities with the wider firm.
