Job summary

Talent Finder seeks a motivated Family Law Paralegal in Luton, offering a training contract opportunity for the right candidate. You will assist with day-to-day management of a family law caseload, including divorce, children matters, and related proceedings, under supervision.

Develop legal skills through drafting, research and client liaison, with the aim of progression towards a solicitor qualification; visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Good legal research and drafting abilities.
• Attention to detail and a professional approach to client care.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and work as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn and develop under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day management of a varied family law caseload.
• Support divorce, separation and financial remedy proceedings.
• Support private and public children law cases and domestic abuse matters.
• Prepare legal documents, court bundles and case files; conduct legal research.
• Liaise with clients, courts, counsel and other professionals; maintain case files.
