Job summary

Spring & Co Solicitors Ltd in Luton is seeking two motivated Paralegals to join a busy Family Law Department. You will work alongside solicitors, gaining hands-on experience with supervision, guidance and training.

Our family law practice covers public/private children proceedings, domestic abuse, divorce, financial remedies, and related property disputes. The role offers mentoring, training, flexible working and home-working options where agreed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• Paralegal experience of 1 year is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist solicitors and senior solicitors with day-to-day case progression and file management.
• Take client instructions, prepare attendance notes and provide professional client care.
• Draft court applications, responses, witness statements and other legal documents.
• Prepare and file evidence, hearing bundles and court documentation.
• Liaise with courts, authorities, social workers, experts and clients.
• Assist with Legal Aid applications and compliance under supervision.
• Prepare instructions to counsel and experts; attend hearings and conferences.
• Carry out legal research and monitor deadlines.
