Sills & Betteridge in Nottingham is seeking a Paralegal to join our Family Law team. You will support fee earners, draft and proofread documents, prepare court bundles, and assist with Legal Aid applications, CCMS, and client liaison.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Family Law Paralegal or Legal Assistant.
• Experience of Legal Aid work and/or CCMS is preferred.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide general support to fee earners across the Family Department.
• Draft, amend and proofread legal documents and correspondence.
• Prepare hearing bundles and court documents.
• Assist with Legal Aid applications and CCMS processes.
• Liaise with clients, courts and third parties.
• Record time and contribute to billing targets.
• Support the ongoing development of the department.
