Job summary

Clear Legal & Financial Recruitment is assisting a growing family law practice in Hull to recruit an experienced Family Law Paralegal. You will support a family solicitor with a privately funded caseload covering divorce, financial remedies, private children matters and related applications, including drafting correspondence, statements and court documents.

The role requires strong drafting, organisation and client-care skills, with the ability to manage deadlines and liaise with courts,

The Role

A growing family law practice is looking for an experienced Family Law Paralegal to join its Hull office.

You will support an experienced family solicitor with a privately funded caseload covering:

• Divorce and separation
• Financial remedy proceedings
• Private children matters
• Consent orders and financial disclosure
• Family Law Act applications

Responsibilities will include:

• Client contact by phone, email and face to face
• Taking instructions where appropriate
• Drafting correspondence, statements and court documents
• Preparing hearing bundles
• Filing applications through HMCTS portals
• Monitoring court deadlines and directions
• Liaising with courts, counsel, experts and other solicitors
• Assisting with financial disclosure and asset schedules
• Maintaining accurate files and time records
• Experience preparing documents such as C100, Form A, D81 and FL401 applications would be advantageous.
• You should have strong drafting, organisation and client-care skills, with the ability to manage deadlines.

Experience Required
