THIS IS AN OFFICE BASED ROLE: MONDAY - FRIDAY ON SITE.

Responsibilities:

• Supporting fee earners on a varied caseload of family law matters, including divorce, financial settlements, and child arrangements
• Drafting legal documents, bundles, and correspondence
• Liaising with clients, courts, and third parties
• Managing files and keeping accurate records
• Conducting legal research and case preparation
• Assisting with administrative and case management tasks

Requirements:

• A keen interest in family law, whether through studies, experience, or both
• Previous paralegal experience [especially in family law] is a strong advantage
• Strong attention to detail and excellent written communication
• Confident, professional, and client-focused approach
• Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
• Must be experienced at multi-tasking, dealing confidential documents, and taking responsibility for managing and effectively prioritising workload.
• Must thrive in a busy, team-oriented environment.

Experience & Qualifications:

• Must have A* - C grade GCSE’s and A Levels.
• Must have obtained a 2:1 or 1st class undergraduate degree.
• Prior experience working in a Paralegal, Legal Secretary or Legal Assistant role is advantageous but not essential.
• Prior experience or familiarity with a legal case management system is advantageous.
