We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Family Paralegal to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support in family law matters, including divorce, financial settlements, child arrangements and domestic violence cases. The Family Paralegal will assist solicitors in preparing and managing cases, maintaining case files, conducting legal research, and ensuring compliance with court procedures. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to contribute to a supportive, dynamic team while advancing their legal career in family law.

Main Purpose of the Role

The role demands for a highly motivated individual who has the ability to work in a fast paced environment. The successful applicant will recognise the importance of their administrative duties.

Role Requirements

  • Previous experience working as a paralegal in family law is desirable but not essential.
  • Legal qualifications (LLB or LPC)
  • Confident and able to work on own initiative
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Proficient in legal research and drafting legal documents
  • Ability to take on and convert new enquiries
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal with the ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism.
  • Confident IT skills, knowledge of Quill/Unity would be an advantage

Working Hours: 09:00 17:00 Monday - Friday

Salary & Benefits: £26,000 - £28,000
