An established industry player is seeking a Family Support Practitioner for a Long Term Temporary position. In this vital role, you will assist in managing Neighbourhood Teams, advocating for families with complex needs, and ensuring high-quality, child-centered practices. You will assist the Family Help Practice Manager in the day-to-day management of one or two Neighbourhood Teams for children and families. Working within a multi-agency framework, you will support families with complex needs, acting as their champion and advocate to improve aspirations and outcomes by building on strengths to reduce dependency on public services.
In line with the key principles of ‘Progress With Unity’, you will embody the values and behaviours, working with colleagues across the Council and its wider partners to achieve the best outcomes for families. You will help deliver and lead good quality, child-centred practice across the service, ensuring that practice is underpinned by the Progress with Unity principles and that the practice model is embedded in all work with children and families. Demonstrating effective leadership and management to support staff is essential.
