Job summary

Stockport Council is seeking a Family Help Intervention Worker to join the Family Help Team. You will provide effective interventions, both one-to-one and through group work with children and their families, focusing on early help and development.

The role is hybrid across Stockport Family hubs, requires experience with children and families and delivering evidence-based programmes to support positive behaviour change, and will involve working toward agreed targets and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with children and families to support change.
• Experience in facilitating evidence-based programmes with parents, children and young people to achieve positive outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective interventions, both one to one and through group work with children and their families.
• Work within Stockport Family to support early help and ensure children reach optimal development.
