Our client, a renowned organisation in Wolverhampton, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Family Group Decision Maker/Mediation Facilitator to join their team. If you have experience working with children and families in a health or social care setting, this opportunity is perfect for you!
At our client's organisation, we believe in preventing family breakdown and promoting family cohesion. As a Family Group Decision Maker/Mediation Facilitator, you will play a vital role in supporting children, young people, and their families. You will work directly with families to help them identify and utilise their support networks through family meetings that you will facilitate.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct Family Group Decision Making and Mediation with families to prevent family breakdown.
- Adopt a whole family approach to support children, young people, and their families on the edge of care and Family Help.
- Manage a caseload of complex cases and embrace a flexible, creative approach.
- Work closely with children, young people, and their families to enhance their potential and promote safe living conditions.
- Contribute to multi-agency assessments of children and families in need of assistance.
- Utilise our case management system for efficient recording and reporting.
- Travel to different families across Wolverhampton.
Requirements:
- NVQ level 3 or an equivalent qualification in social care/health-related subject.
- English and Maths or equivalent to level 2 of the National Qualification Framework.
- Demonstrable experience working with children and families in a health or social care setting.
- Minimum 2 years of direct work experience with children, young people, and families.
