Job summary

Solace in Enfield is seeking an experienced Family First Independent Domestic Violence Advisor (IDVA) for a 12-week temporary contract. The role involves supporting high-risk survivors, completing risk assessments, and coordinating with multi-agency partners to ensure safety and access to services.

The ideal candidate has IDVA experience, strong safeguarding knowledge, and excellent advocacy and case management skills.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working as an IDVA or within a domestic abuse service.
• Strong understanding of domestic abuse, risk assessment and safeguarding.
• Experience supporting high-risk clients.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-agency team.
• Excellent communication, advocacy and case management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist IDVA support to survivors of domestic abuse.

Location: Enfield, London
Contract: Temporary - 12 weeks initially
Working hours: Monday-Thursday, 30 hours per week
Working arrangement: 2 days in the office, 2 days working from home
Start date: ASAP - You MUST have a valid in date DBS

About the Role

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Family First Independent Domestic Violence Advisor (IDVA) to join Solace's team in Enfield on an initial 12-week temporary contract.

The successful candidate will provide specialist support to individuals and families affected by domestic abuse, working with those experiencing high-risk situations.
