Join Our Team at Knowsley Family First – Make a Real Difference!

Role: Family First Case Manager
Location: Knowsley
Hours: 36 hours per week
Contract: Initial 3-month contract (potential for extension)

Knowsley Family First is a vital service providing support and intervention to families with complex needs, helping them to thrive in line with the Early Help and Prevention Strategy and the national Supporting Families Programme.
We’re looking for a passionate and experienced Case Manager to join our dedicated team, delivering coordinated, whole-family early help interventions that lead to lasting positive change and prevent the need for escalation to crisis services.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Deliver high-quality support through direct work with children, young people, and their families.
  2. Complete Early Help Assessments and develop SMART action plans with families.
  3. Organise and lead Team Around the Family (TAF) meetings.
  4. Monitor and review progress in partnership with other agencies.
  5. Conduct home visits and provide safeguarding-focused support.
  6. Maintain accurate, clear written records and contribute to positive multi-agency working.
About You: We’re looking for someone who:
  1. Has strong safeguarding knowledge and experience.
  2. Can confidently complete and review SMART action plans.
  3. Has excellent organisational skills and meets deadlines effectively.
  4. Is a strong communicator with solid written and verbal skills.
  5. Is passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and families.
