Job summary

The Bishop Fraser Trust currently seeks a dedicated Family Engagement & Support Officer to join our Breightmet-based academy. The role offers a permanent contract, 37 hours per week, term time plus 3 days, with actual salary bands and SCP progression as listed in the advert.

You will engage with pupils, parents and professionals to improve outcomes and safeguarding standards. We welcome applicants who are proactive, resilient and committed to inclusion.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to support pupils and families with social, emotional or behavioural needs.
• Strong safeguarding knowledge and approach.
• Commitment to inclusion, equality and parental engagement.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional support to parents/carers and school staff for pupils facing challenges to learning.
• Contribute to a core offer of services for pupils and families within the school.
