Family Department Secretary – Bridport

Salary: Commensurate with experience

We are seeking an experienced secretary to join our dynamic Family Law team at Kitson & Trotman. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a friendly, collaborative workplace where your skills and expertise will be valued.

Location: Bridport
Hours: Full-time (37 hours per week)

Key Responsibilities:
Efficiently manage diaries and appointments.
Prepare legal documents, correspondence and Court forms using digital dictation.
Handle client enquiries professionally, both over the phone and in person.
Liaise with law firms, authorities, barrister chambers, and other third parties.
Maintain accurate filing of correspondence and legal documents.
Use our Case Management System effectively to enhance business efficiency.

About You:

Previous secretarial experience is essential.
Legal secretarial experience is desirable but not essential.
Strong typing skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
High level of discretion and ability to maintain client confidentiality.
A positive team player with a professional and polite manner.
Excellent telephone and interpersonal skills.
