Salary: £42,924 - £45,451 per year

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Social Worker to join our Family Based Care Team.
The Family Based Care Team has a key role in ensuring that Inverclyde has high quality, well supported, trauma informed family based care options for all children who cannot safely remain in their home. As a Social Worker within the team you will be responsible for undertaking the highest standards of assessment and support to kinship, fostering and adoptive families.
You will also be involved in the key tasks relating to the recruitment of new foster carers and prospective adoptive carers.

Regulatory Bodies
If your post requires registration with a Regulatory Body such as HCPC or SSSC etc., you are required to obtain and maintain registration including paying any fees for HCPC. As part of the local government pay deal, local authority staff are no longer required to pay SSSC fees.
