About Our Client

Our client is a well-established, national law firm with offices in Liverpool. As a Family Associate/Senior Associate you will become part of a supportive, dynamic and close-knit team of 14, handling a diverse caseload of family matters and working collaboratively with colleagues across the firm to deliver a seamless client experience. Management and supervision of junior members of the team will be involved, as will opportunities to support department initiatives for marketing and business development.

Job Description

As a Family Associate/Senior Associate your duties will include:

  • Manage a private caseload of family law matters, including divorce, financial settlements, and children-related cases.
  • Provide clear, concise, and practical advice to clients.
  • Draft and review legal documents.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings and other dispute resolution forums as required.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to support the growth and success of the department.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, fostering trust and confidence.
  • Keep up to date with changes in family law and apply them effectively to cases.
  • Contribute to business development initiatives to enhance the firm's profile in the professional services industry.
The Successful Applicant

A successful Family Associate/Senior Associate should have at least 3 year PQE in family work and have experience of dealing with high-net worth clients.
