Job description

We are looking to recruit a Family Assistant/House Manager with some Butler duties to run a large London property for VIP clients.

All House Managers applying must hold a valid driving licence and have a minimum of 3 years having worked in a similar role and be happy with some light Butler duties.

Duties required:

• Supervising and supporting 2 housekeepers
• Liaising with gardeners, PA, and the Family Office
• Overseeing care of fine furniture, artwork, fabrics, and finishes
• Guest welcoming and care
• Formal table setting and service
• Cooking simple, healthy meals as needed
• Household provisioning and light maintenance (e.g., lightbulb changes)
• Wardrobe management
• Driving errands and occasional travel (UK and abroad)
• Preparing secondary residence ahead of family visits
This role would ideally suit someone with:
• Proven experience in private households for UHNW clients
• Confident managing staff while remaining hands-on
• Strong initiative, organisation, and discretion
• Flexible and service-oriented attitude
• Comfortable working independently
• Dog friendly and willing to travel as required
