Legal Secretary – Family Law & Private Client
Location: Birmingham
Job Type: Permanent, Full-time

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Legal Secretary to join a well-established and forward-thinking legal team in Birmingham. This role involves providing comprehensive administrative support to a highly skilled team, ensuring smooth daily operations in Family Law and Private Client matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Digital Dictation: Typing correspondence and legal documents from dictation.
  • Document Preparation: Preparing and managing legal bundles, ensuring accurate indexing, pagination, and organization.
  • Diary Management: Scheduling appointments and managing meetings for fee earners.
  • Billing Support: Assisting with client invoicing and billing procedures.
  • File Management: Organizing and maintaining both physical and electronic filing systems.
  • General Administration: Preparing mail, enclosures, photocopying, and scanning.
  • Meeting Coordination: Booking meeting rooms, preparing facilities, and arranging refreshments as required.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency in digital dictation and document preparation.
  • Effective diary and schedule management experience.
