Family and Friends Social Worker

Caerphilly

up to £37.97 per hour payrolled via an Umbrella company / £30.50 PAYE

A Qualified Social Worker is required to join Caerphilly Social Services Family and Friends Team for an initial 3 month contract. Hybrid working is offered in this role and my client is looking for an asap. Preferably a full time worker, but part time applications will be considered.

The team work with children and their families where there is a court order in place for them to live with a family member ~ this could be a care order or a special guardianship order. The focus is to discharge Care Orders for PCCP and to secure an SGO instead of a Care Order at the right time for children and families. There is a need to risk manage and support looked after children and promote and meet the needs of SGO households.

To apply for this role, you will need to hold -

• A minimum of 6 months experience of working in the UK as a registered social worker
• A relevant Social Work Qualification
• Registration with Social Care Wales / Social Work England
• Enhanced DBS, registered on the update service or be happy to apply for a DBS
• 3 Years of referencing
• Driving license with access to a car
