Job summary

NSS Group, part of NSS Testing, is seeking a Fall Protection Installation & Inspection Engineer to join our height safety team. The role covers installation and inspection of fall arrest systems, lifelines, ladders and guardrails across various sites in the UK.

Flexibility for nights, weekends, and staying away is expected to meet project needs. You will work within a skilled team, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and British Standards, while supporting other divisions as

Qualifications

  • Full, clean driving license is required.
  • Experience or competency to work at height is essential.
  • Good communication skills and attention to detail are important.
  • Ability to work well in a team or independently is needed.

Responsibilities

  • Fall Arrest and Life Safety Lines installation and inspection.
  • Eyebolts for fall restraint and abseil tasks.
  • Install gantries and walkways, guardrails and ladders (fixed and portable).
  • Inspect and manage lifting equipment safety.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and British Standards.
  • Highlight additional works required after service or reactive tasks.
  • Support other NSS Testing divisions when needed.

Fall Protection Installation & Inspection Engineer at NSS Group

The Division

NSS Testing – this division specialises in testing and installation of commercial building assets, from fall arrest equipment, life safety systems to automation and access control. The role we are looking to fill is for a Roof Access Systems Engineer to work within our skilled team of height safety engineers.

Responsibilities of the role
  • Fall Arrest and Life Safety Lines
  • Eyebolts – fall restraint and abseil
  • Gantries and walkways
  • Guardrails
  • Ladders – fixed and portable
  • General lifting equipment
  • Ensuring that health and safety regulations and guidelines are followed at all times and to comply with British Standards.
  • To highlight any further works required following service or reactive works.
  • Support of other divisions when required

Requirements required
