Job summary

NSS Group is recruiting for a Fall Protection Installation & Inspection Engineer within NSS Testing. The role focuses on installing and inspecting fall arrest and life safety systems, eyebolts, gantries, guardrails, and ladders.

You will work with a team of height safety engineers, adhering strictly to health and safety standards and British Standards. Flexibility for nights, weekends, or site travel is required.

Qualifications

• Experience working at height and in fall protection
• Full, clean driving licence
• Strong health and safety awareness and regulatory compliance
• Good communication and organisational skills
• Able to work independently or in a team

Responsibilities

• Install and inspect fall arrest systems and life safety lines
• Handle eyebolts, fall restraint equipment and abseil gear
• Install gantries, walkways and guardrails
• Operate ladders and fixed equipment safely
• Ensure compliance with British Standards and regulations
• Identify additional work needs after service or reactive tasks
• Support other divisions when required

The Division

NSS Testing – this division specialises in testing and installation of commercial building assets, from fall arrest equipment, life safety systems to automation and access control. The role we are looking to fill is for a Roof Access Systems Engineer to work within our skilled team of height safety engineers.

Responsibilities of the role:

• Fall Arrest and Life Safety Lines
• Eyebolts – fall restraint and abseil
• Gantries and walkways
• Guardrails
• Ladders – fixed and portable
• General lifting equipment
• Ensuring that health and safety regulations and guidelines are followed at all times and to comply with British Standards.
• To highlight any further works required following service or reactive works.
• Support of other divisions when required

Requirements required:

• Smart and professional appearance and manner
