We areseeking a passionate and inspirational Faculty Leader of Design & Technology, Computer Science, and Art at a thriving school. As the Faculty Leader of Design & Technology, Computer Science, and Art, you will be responsible for leading teaching and learning across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5. You will bring vision, energy, and a proven track record of engaging students, ensuring they gain rewarding, creative, and enriching experiences. This department is a key part of a well-led, mutually supportive team with a strong commitment to improving standards. You'll work collaboratively with colleagues and benefit from robust support from a dedicated teaching and learning team, including Lead Practitioners and a strong Senior Leadership Team. We are looking for a truly visionary Faculty Leader of Design & Technology, Computer Science, and Art to make a lasting impact.

Responsibilities:

• Provide visionary leadership to the Design & Technology, Computer Science, and Art faculty, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
• Oversee the planning, development, and delivery of engaging curricula across KS3, KS4, and KS5, ensuring progression and high attainment.
• Drive high-quality teaching practices within the faculty, ensuring all students are engaged, motivated, and achieving their full potential.
• Effectively manage the faculty's budget, resources, and facilities, ensuring a stimulating learning environment.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• A degree in Design & Technology, Computer Science, Art, or a related field.
• Proven experience in a leadership or coordination role within a Design & Technology, Computer Science, or Art department in a UK secondary school.
• A demonstrable history of driving student engagement and raising achievement across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
• Strong subject knowledge and understanding of current educational best practices in DT, CS, and Art.
