Job summary

Dovetail and Slate is seeking a Faculty Director - Inclusive Practice to provide strategic leadership across SEND, high needs, EHCPs and inclusive curriculum across multiple FE College campuses. You will lead Curriculum Managers, monitor outcomes and drive quality improvement.

The role requires extensive FE leadership experience, strong knowledge of EHCP processes and evidence of improving teaching, learning and assessment through data-led strategies.

Qualifications

• Significant FE College leadership experience.
• Extensive line and performance management experience.
• Strong knowledge of SEND, high-needs funding and EHCP processes.
• Experience with alternative, subcontracted or partnership provision.
• Experience leading teams through Ofsted inspection.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Curriculum Managers and business support teams.

• Lead curriculum quality, development and improvement.
• Oversee alternative, subcontracted and partnership provision.
• Monitor student achievement, progression and destinations.
• Lead staff performance management and development.

• Promote Universal Design for Learning, trauma-informed practice and adaptive teaching.
• Lead curriculum growth, planning and business development.
• Work closely with senior leaders, SENCos and external stakeholders.
• Provide leadership across multiple FE College campuses.

Are you an experienced FE Curriculum Manager, Head of Faculty, Head of Curriculum or senior education leader with a strong background in SEND and inclusive practice?

We are looking for a Faculty Director - Inclusive Practice to provide strategic and operational leadership across SEND, high needs, EHCPs, alternative provision and wider inclusive curriculum provision.

The Role

• Lead and develop Curriculum Managers and business support teams
