Join The Team as a Factory Technician - Erith, Kent

Salary: 26,000 - 29,000 Full-Time, Mon-Fri Split Shifts 7am till 3pm and 3pm till 11pm

Are you experienced with tools, valves, or machinery and want to grow in a technical role?

We are hiring hands-on Mechanical/Factory Technicians to maintain and service vital safety equipment used across the UK. This is not just a warehouse job, it is a chance to use your practical skills, learn new technical processes, and build a stable, rewarding career.

What You Will Do:

  • Disassemble, clean, and reassemble industrial fire cylinders and valves
  • Inspect and prep cylinders for testing, repainting, and pressure sealing
  • Use hand and power tools to maintain safety components to technical standards
  • Follow technical work instructions and quality control procedures
  • Load/unload stock and move cylinders (up to 20kg) using proper handling aids

What We are Looking For:

  • Experience with mechanical tools, machines, or workshop equipment
  • Background in maintenance, engineering, fire safety, or gas cylinders is a plus
  • Comfortable reading simple diagrams, technical specs, or work orders
  • Strong teamwork and attention to detail
  • Willingness to learn and grow into more senior technical responsibilities
