We are currently recruiting an Operative to join our friendly team at our Linford Block Plant, located near Stanford-le-Hope in Essex. This role involves working on a rotating shift pattern.

The site is easily accessible from Tilbury, Gravesend, Rochester, Gillingham, Dartford, Purfleet on Thames, Grays, Wickford, Southend-on-Sea, Basildon, Brentwood, Billericay, and surrounding areas.

Our Linford Plant manufactures sustainable, energy-efficient aerated blocks used in homes and workplaces, making our products a familiar sight around us.

Main Responsibilities

As an Operative, your responsibilities include:

• Meeting daily production targets
• Reporting data for quality purposes
• Moving, loading, and unloading products from the plant and vehicles
• Ensuring accurate loading and timely vehicle turnaround to meet customer service standards
• Continuous improvement of performance standards and production methods
• Maintaining good housekeeping

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have experience working in an industrial or factory environment as a Fork Lift Truck Operative, Multi-Skilled Operative, or Labourer. However, teamwork, communication skills, and a willingness to learn are equally important, as full training will be provided.
