Job summary

Proman is hiring a Factory Operative – Line Feeder in Worcester to support production by supplying materials and components to assembly lines, ensuring smooth operation.

You will move stock between warehouse and production areas, monitor stock levels, and operate pallet trucks safely; the role offers a 39-hour week with overtime as required, weekly pay, and site facilities.

Full training is provided, and teamwork is essential to success.

Responsibilities

• Supplies production lines with materials and components required for assembly.
• Transporting stock, parts, and pallets between warehouse and production areas.

• Carrying out stock checks and reporting shortages or discrepancies.
• Working closely with production operators, team leaders, and logistics colleagues.
• Following all health and safety procedures and maintaining a clean work area.

Factory Operative - Line Feeder

Our client, a market leader in heating and hot water solutions, is currently recruiting Factory Operatives to join their growing Logistics Department.

Pay Rates

• £13.03/hour - Morning Shift
• Overtime Rates:
  • Weekdays: £17.37/hour
  • Saturday: £19.55/hour
  • Sunday: £26.06/hour

Pay Increase After 12 Weeks

• £13.52/hour - Morning Shift

Working Hours

• Average 39 hours per week
• Flexibility required: 24 to 45 hours per week depending on business needs

Key Responsibilities

As a Line Feeder, you will play a vital role in supporting production operations by ensuring manufacturing lines are supplied with the correct materials and components at all times. Duties include:

• Supplying production lines with materials and components required for assembly.
• Transporting stock, parts, and pallets between warehouse and production areas.
• Monitoring stock levels on production lines and replenishing materials as required.
• Using pallet trucks and other material-handling equipment safely.
• Carrying out stock checks and reporting shortages or discrepancies.
