Connect Appointments is currently seeking an experienced Factory Operator to join our client's team in West Auckland. This is a permanent opportunity to take the lead in a well-established manufacturing environment.

What's on offer:

  • Permanent, full-time position (40 hours per week)
  • Regular hours (Monday to Friday - no weekends!)
  • Starting rate of £12.21 per hour (which could increase after 3 months)

Key responsibilities:

  • Operate woodworking machinery (beam saws, edge banders, etc.)
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and Health & Safety-compliant workspace
  • Contribute to a productive and positive working environment
  • Operate a forklift in a safe and controlled manner

What we're looking for:

  • Proven experience in a factory role, ideally in kitchens or woodshop factories
  • Forklift licence - this is essential
  • Hands-on experience with beam saws, edge banders, and similar equipment
  • Attention to detail
  • Health & Safety conscious with a proactive approach
