Job description

A brilliant opportunity awaits as we are currently seeking a Factory Operative to join a popular cheese factory based near Wainfleet All Saints.

As a Factory Operative, you’ll be an essential part of the dynamic factory and warehouse team, playing a vital role in making high-quality cheese products. This is an exciting chance for someone eager to thrive in a welcoming and fast paced environment.

What will I be paid?
Hourly rate: £12.33 per hour

What will I be doing as a Factory Operative?

  • Operating production machinery to process and package cheese products
  • Working on a production line picking, packing and applying wax to the products.
  • Supporting warehouse activities, including stock handling and palletisation
  • Performing quality inspections
  • Keeping the workplace tidy and safe
  • Working closely in a team to achieve daily production and warehouse goals
  • Promptly reporting any issues to supervisors

What skills and experience do I need?
  • Experience in a production or warehouse setting, ideally in food manufacturing (preferred)
  • Keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence
  • Enthusiastic, can-do attitude
  • Ability to work effectively both solo and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of food safety practices (preferred)
  • Reliable transport to access the site

Working hours:
Monday to Friday – 08:00 to finish (typically around 17:00)
