Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking Packing Operatives for a manufacturing client in Cheltenham. This is a temporary ongoing position with a pay rate of £14.65 per hour. Applicants should be able to work rotating shifts across mornings, afternoons, and nights, and be prepared to lift heavy items in a fast-paced production environment. There may be opportunities for permanent employment for hard-working candidates.

Qualifications

• Must be willing to work in rotating shifts including AM, PM, and Nights.
• Ability to lift heavy items safely is required.
• Experience working in a factory or similar environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Pack goods in pairs on a fast-paced production line.
• Move items onto stillages and abide by health and safety guidelines.
• Work to specific production targets and assist in lifting heavy items.

We have ongoing requirements for our Manufacturing Client based in Cheltenham on a temporary basis to start ASAP. You will be on shift, AM, PM and Night (Monday to Friday) and must be free to work all three shifts on a weekly rotational basis.

The role will involve;

- Working in a heavy factory environment

- Packing goods in pairs

- Working from a fast paced production line

- Moving items on to stillages

- Working to targets

- Lifting heavy items between two people

- Shrink wrapping and labelling of goods

- Abiding by Health and Safety guidelines at all times

This role is temporary ongoing which could lead to a permanent job for candidates that show a willingness to work hard and develop.
