Job summary
Page Personnel is seeking an experienced Factory Manager for a growing SME metal manufacturing company in the UK. The role focuses on leading the development and execution of operational processes, driving continuous improvement and ensuring a safe, compliant, and efficient manufacturing site.
You will oversee production planning, monitor KPIs, coach the team and translate strategic objectives into actionable plans, while pursuing automation and productivity gains to improve margins.
Qualifications
- Experience leading manufacturing teams and operations.
- Strong knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma and continuous improvement.
- Familiarity with production planning and scheduling processes.
- Solid understanding of health, safety and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement operational processes and infrastructure to meet business goals.
- Oversee production planning to meet targets and customer expectations.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety requirements within a high-performing plant.
- Monitor KPIs and drive corrective actions to improve performance.
- Coach and develop the manufacturing team and translate strategy into actionable plans.
- Drive cost efficiency, automation and technology adoption to boost productivity.
