Overview

JOB TITLE: Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Our client is a leading manufacturer of packaging solutions with an annual turnover exceeding £1Bn, employing over 10,000 people across 19 countries. They invest in cutting edge technology within their production facilities and value a well trained and motivated workforce.

Role and Responsibilities

• Maintain mechanical and electrical aspects of all machinery (AC/DC drives and motors, PLCs, Profibus, control systems, etc.).
• Assist with installation and commissioning of equipment electrically, pneumatically and mechanically.
• Troubleshoot faults with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Troubleshoot faults with control gear and PLC systems.
• Carry out preventive planned maintenance (PPM) of machines and plant.
• Carry out other property, facilities and maintenance duties as needed.

The Candidate

The client is looking for an experienced Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer who is happy to work a continental shift pattern (mix of nights and days).

Salary and Location

Salary: £45,000 + Overtime
