Overview

Multi-skilled Factory Maintenance Engineer

Company: A well-established Engineering and Manufacturing Company
Location: St. Neots - Cambourne area - (Own transport required due to location)
Job Type: Permanent, immediate start available and no call outs
Salary: Up to 18.50 per hour, Overtime: 27.75 per hour (time and a half) - depending on experience- Excellent earning potential
Hours: 39 hours per week, with a 12.00 mid-day finish on Fridays
Free on-site car parking

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with a strong mechanical bias to cover all site maintenance and repair, including machine maintenance and breakdowns.

Duties

• The Factory Maintenance Engineer will conduct general site maintenance to ensure smooth and continuous operations.
• While both mechanical and electrical skills are required, this role will primarily focus on mechanical tasks.
• Address and resolve breakdowns promptly to minimise downtime.
• Maintain and service various on-site machinery, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
• Perform electrical works and plumbing tasks around the site.

Working Hours

• Monday: 7:30 am- 4:00 pm
• Tuesday: 7:30 am - 4:30 pm
• Wednesday & Thursday: 7:30 am - 5:00 pm
• Friday: 7:30 am - 12:00 noon (unless working overtime)
