Job description

Job Opportunity: Factory Coordinator – HVAC (Railway & Compressors)
Location: SW19
Department: HVAC – Railway & Compressors
Salary: £30,000–£35,000 (depending on experience)
Working Hours: 07:30 – 15:30 (1-hour lunch break)

We are seeking a proactive and organised Factory Coordinator to join our HVAC – Railway & Compressors team based in SW19. This is a key role supporting the smooth running of factory operations, particularly around HVAC units and compressor systems for the railway sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate repairs of HVAC units based on customer demands

  • Order parts and consumables for factory operations

  • Raise and manage delivery paperwork for outgoing parts, railway HVACs, and compressors

  • Prepare and issue quotations to customers

  • Manage stock levels, including monthly stock reconciliation (stock take performed by storeman)

  • Oversee rail production planning and maintain accurate customer order books

Requirements:
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills

  • Experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment preferred

  • Effective communication and time management abilities

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office; experience with ERP or stock systems is a plus

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
