We are looking for a Facilities Technician

The role includes the management of associated service contracts and resources, ensuring best practice and cost-effective solutions in accordance with corporate safety directives, energy efficiency playbook, and facility policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Facilities Team
  • Undertake facility improvements and repairs
  • Coordinate external Contractors and ensure adherence to contractor control procedures
  • Monitor and manage facility service contracts
  • Plan and implement facility improvements aligned with Lear’s Energy Efficiency Playbook
  • Develop and manage preventative programs and oversee projects
  • Submit PAR & CAPEX costs for facility projects
  • Monitor and manage energy usage
  • Ensure facility compliance with Lear’s directives, site procedures, and statutory inspections to meet relevant legislation
  • Lead quarterly Kaizen / improvement projects
  • Respond to any Quality / facility investigations
  • Provide support to the Industrial Engineering and Maintenance teams where applicable

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Project & Contractor Management
