Role Overview: QSHE & Facilities Manager
This role supports the management team by ensuring compliance with governance standards and maintaining adherence to:
- Legal compliance
- Company health & safety policies, processes, and standards
- Industry accreditations (e.g., ISO, BRC)
- Food safety standards (if applicable)
- Health & safety training requirements, including delivering training as needed
- Contractor control processes
Facilities Management Responsibilities
- Manage external security, catering, and cleaning contractors, ensuring all legal and safety requirements are met
- Support and manage the MHE fleet and central facilities
- Oversee pre-planned maintenance schedules
- Manage all waste streams on-site
- Maintain and update the 'know your building' documentation and train staff accordingly
- Understand in-country health & safety legislative requirements
- Ensure compliance with legislative, industry, and company standards
- Coordinate audits of compliance and procedures (internal and external)
- Apply key principles of facilities management, including legislative compliance and PPM & PMC programmes
- Interact with multiple departments and third-party contractors
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Demonstrate outstanding organizational skills
Experience and Skills Required
- Strong knowledge to achieve safety and legal commitments
- Experience maintaining accreditation standards (ISO, BRC)
- Ability to track KPIs and report to site management
- Commitment to continuous personal development
- Monitor KPI performance of suppliers and contractors, including PPM activities
- Familiarity with legislation related to property infrastructure maintenance
- Conduct and facilitate compliance audits and health checks, identifying risks and engaging managers to resolve issues
