Opportunity : Residential Aged Care Facility Manager – relocate to Launceston, Tasmania

We are seeking suitable applicants awaiting their next opportunity within a highly autonomous leadership position with a leading not for profit organisation well established in Tasmania. This position will be responsible for leading a large team delivering high-quality care to residents within a 100-bed Residential Aged Care facility.

Relocation support available for successful candidates.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparation of annual budgets, ensuring financial success by monitoring expenditure and achieving a positive outcome.
  • Drive quality in the delivery of all services to ensure excellence is maintained in line with vision, mission, and values.
  • Provide leadership and expertise to all areas of the operations.
  • Provide high quality support to residents and their families.
  • Oversee all aspects of care service and food services delivery are compliant with Aged Care Quality Standards, policies and procedures, and relevant legislation.
  • Act as a role model to staff and contribute to a positive workplace culture; promoting the values in everything you do.
  • Lead, coach, and direct all human resources functions to ensure the delivery of all services in line with expectations and values.

What you’ll need

  • Proven experience in clinical management within aged care.
  • 3+ years in a Residential Aged Care Management role.
  • Strong leadership skills, including team motivation and development.
  • In-depth knowledge of accreditation standards, infection control, and aged care legislation.
  • Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • High-level clinical management experience, preferably in aged care.
  • A passion for leading and motivating large teams.
  • Flexibility to work across multiple facilities as part of the Facility Management team.

Qualifications and Compliance

  • Valid Australian Working Rights.
  • National Police Check.
  • Tasmanian Working with Vulnerable People registration (including NDIS endorsement).
