SHYAS Health formerly known as S&H Youth and Adult Services is currently hiring for a Facility Maintenance Technician to join our strong team in Salisbury, NC. Our ideal candidate is attentive, ambitious, reliable and has great time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a healthy, sanitized, and safe environment for SHYAS staff and consumers
• Clean and disinfect various types of surfaces, floors, and fixtures
• Dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors
• Clean designated areas with proper equipment and chemicals
• Maintain a high level of precaution, hygiene, and professionalism
• Perform and track routine inspections and maintenance activities
• Notifying supervisors of any issues or problems

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience
• Ability to manage your time efficiently
• Work well when supervisors are not present
• Handle basic maintenance, building repairs, cleaning, and other janitorial work
• Ability to lift at least 25 pounds
• Able to work safely with a variety of cleaning supplies
