Job Description

AWE is currently recruiting for a Facility Engineering Task Manager to manage and oversee the delivery of professional engineering services. This role supports the Principal Asset Engineer in fulfilling the strategy for maintaining all assets and equipment necessary for the successful delivery of the Programme.

Position Details
  • Location: Aldermaston, Berkshire
  • Package: £47,690 - £69,000 (depending on suitability and experience)
About the Role

As a Facility Engineering Task Manager, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Provide leadership to engineering personnel, inspiring trust, building effective relationships, and demonstrating personal excellence, integrity, and accountability.
  • Identify engineering task requirements from the relevant Area's Operations Manager.
  • Deliver engineering tasks on schedule, within budget, and to quality standards.
  • Identify strategic engineering resources to support future programs within your Tech Centre.
  • Maintain high standards in environment, safety, health, security, and quality, and promote a great team environment.
Desired Experience and Qualifications
  • HNC/HND with relevant experience.
  • Ability to deliver engineering projects across infrastructure facilities and associated manufacturing and research plant and equipment.
  • Experience in leading the delivery of engineering services over an asset's lifecycle.
  • Project, Contract, and Engineering Management experience, with knowledge of CDMS.
