Job description

Facilities Technician

As a Facilities Technician, you'll be responsible for routine workplace checks and managing maintenance programs for our office buildings in the South West. Your duties will include internal repairs such as joinery, plumbing (non-qualified jobs), internal painting, and general maintenance, as well as external upkeep of parking areas, landscaped spaces, and storage areas. You will oversee onsite contractors, raise work orders, source materials, and contribute to the safety of our buildings and colleagues.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a similar role within office or workplace maintenance
  • Excellent customer service and people skills
  • Willingness to travel between multiple sites
  • Ability to independently perform minor repairs
  • Strong organization and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to build relationships internally and externally
  • Confidence in using IT systems for work management
  • A full UK driving license for at least 12 months (company van and fuel card provided)

Desirable:

  • Basic knowledge of heating and cooling ventilation systems

Role details:

  • Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 depending on experience
  • 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays (additional day after each year up to 30 days)
