We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a PermanentFacilities Team Leaderto join ourGlasgow school’s account.

The standard hours of work are 37.5 hours per week

We are seeking a Facilities Team Leader with previous experience in facilities/estate management. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, demonstrate reliability and responsibility, and excel at developing strong working relationships with on-site clients and employees. Team players who thrive in collaborative environments are encouraged to apply.

The successful candidate will join a dedicated team supporting a diverse estate of 30 schools across Glasgow. Working alongside an experienced supervisor, they will help manage and coordinate the efforts of 19 skilled engineers, ensuring the workload is shared effectively and service standards are consistently met.

We work in partnership with our clients and end-users to ensure our 24/7 services are delivered to the highest standard with minimum impact or disruption to day-to-day operational requirements of the schools.

What you will do:

  • Communicate problems and concerns promptly through line management ensuring quick resolution
  • Ensure the health, safety and security of staff, customers, premises, and equipment by encouraging and monitoring best practices always.
  • Comply with all Health and Safety Legislation Ensure all legislative requirements are adhered to Undertake role in a professional and safe manner at all time
  • Carry out team briefings
  • Control stock levels and order consumables to ensure service delivery through the correct channels
  • Check and sign timesheets in accordance with procedures
  • Provide support for the safe and efficient operation of the premises.
  • Ensure all customer requirements are met

What you will bring:

  • Previous experience of working within the facilities/Estate management
  • Good communication skills
  • Team players good at developing strong working relationships with on-site client and employees
  • Demonstrate a reliable and responsible approach
  • Developing strong working relationships with on-site client and employees
  • Responsible for ensuring H&S standards are achieved across the contract
  • Full UK driving license is essential for this role.
