Job summary

Somerset NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Facilities Team Leader to oversee catering and cleaning services within a busy hospital environment. You will lead by example, coordinate operations and ensure high standards of cleanliness and safety for patients, visitors and staff.

Working closely with Clinical Leads, Ward Managers and the wider Facilities Team, you will implement policies, monitor compliance with national cleaning standards and food safety requirements, and support

Qualifications

• Experience supervising staff in cleaning, catering, facilities or housekeeping.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritise competing demands under pressure.
• Knowledge of health/care settings standards is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead and co-ordinate catering and cleaning services.

Are you an experienced facilities professional with strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering high-quality services within a healthcare environment? We are seeking an enthusiastic and organised Facilities Team Leader to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term basis to provide maternity leave cover.

In this rewarding role, you will lead and co-ordinate catering and cleaning services, helping to maintain a safe, clean and welcoming environment for patients, visitors and staff. Working closely with Clinical Leads, Ward Managers and the wider Facilities Team, you will ensure compliance with national cleaning standards, food safety requirements and Trust policies.

You will possess excellent organisational and communication skills, be comfortable working under pressure, and have the ability to prioritise competing demands effectively.
