Job description

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Facilities Support Officer, to join and established organisation based in Conwy.The main purpose of this role will be toassist the Facilities Manager in the effective and efficientmanagement of the facility for all the appropriate buildings and to its occupants.

In the Facilities Support Officer role you will be:

  • Operating alarms and opening and closing of the buildings
  • Assisting with the operating systems including lighting, heating, AC, visitors, waste disposal, driveways and car parks
  • Responsible for all operational building related queries and troubleshooting any issues
  • Identify faults and defects with the building in accordance with policies and procedures

To be successful in theFacilities Support Officer roleyou will need to have:

  • Previous experience working in facilities / estates management
  • Basic knowledge of building operations and environmental controls
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Hold a full UK drivers’ licence and access to your own vehicle

This is a temporary, ongoing position based at the organisation's head office near Conwy town centre.The role is offered on a rotating shift basis, covering the hours of 6:30am to 7:30pm, Monday to Friday, working 37 hours per week.The pay rate is £12.65 per hour plus holiday pay.
