Job summary

Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a dedicated facilities assistant to support the delivery of domestic cleaning and portering across a range of healthcare and office environments, coordinating daily operations and prioritising tasks.

You will work within Health & Safety and infection control standards to maintain a safe, clean and welcoming environment for patients, staff and visitors.

Job description

To support the delivery of high-quality facilities services, including domestic cleaning and portering, across a range of healthcare and office environments. To take a lead role in coordinating daily operations, developing skills in task prioritisation and team organisation. To contribute to maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors. To work within relevant legislation and Trust policies, including Health & Safety and infection control standards. Please note applicants will be required to pay for their DBS check. Costs are deducted from salary following appointment. The cost of the DBS application is £26.40 (standard) or £54.40 (enhanced), this cost will be deducted from your salary over the first 2 months of employment. You are encouraged to enrol for the DBS Update Service. An annual fee of £16 per year applies.
