Job summary

Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is offering a development apprenticeship within Facilities Services, working 30 hours per week across Domestics Portering, Catering, Housekeeping and Switchboard to gain overview of our services.

The role supports daily operations, ensures workloads are allocated, cleanliness standards are upheld, patient meals are delivered on time, and equipment and vehicles are maintained, with progression toward Agenda for Change alignment.

Job description

We have an opportunity for a development role within Facilities 30 hours per week. Working within Domestics Portering, Catering, Housekeeping and Switchboard to gain an overview and understanding of our services.

Please note that this post does not meet the pay level required for a Skilled worker visa.

Successful applicants with no prior NHS experience would normally be placed at the bottom of the band in line with Agenda for Change. This salary is below the minimum salary required for sponsorship for a Skilled Worker / Health & Care visa. In these circumstances the Trust would not, therefore, be able to sponsor for a Skilled Worker / Health & Care visa.

This Apprenticeship will give the opportunity to support the coordination of daily operations across Facilities Services, including cleaning, portering, catering, waste management, and deliveries.
