We are seeking a Facilities Supervisor for our growing site in Northampton. The role will work closely alongside the QHSE Manager to deliver H&S and Facilities objectives. You will be responsible for managing the workload of the Maintenance & Hygiene Operatives.

This is a full-time, permanent position. You will work Monday to Friday, with flexible start and finish times.

What You’ll Do On a Typical Day
  • Oversee and supervise maintenance staff across the site.
  • Liaise with on-site contractors, plan and schedule maintenance work.
  • Maintain records and ensure compliance with security and safety regulations.
  • Manage budgets and accounts, conduct equipment audits.
  • Lead and promote sustainability initiatives for the site, plan and manage related projects.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
What You Need To Succeed At GXO
  • Previous experience in a senior facilities role, preferably within warehousing or logistics.
  • Proficiency with data management, Excel, and other Microsoft applications.
  • IOSH Managing Safely certification is essential.
  • Level 3 Diploma, 18th Edition Wiring, IOSH, Refrigeration, or City & Guilds qualifications.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
