Job summary

City of Bristol College is seeking a Facilities Officer to join our college community. You will work with a dedicated team to manage maintenance, security, cleaning and emergency response across our sites.

This full-time role involves working on a rotating shift, delivering high-quality customer service to staff and students, and ensuring a safe, well-maintained environment. A full driving licence and basic IT skills are desirable; training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Full driving licence and access to a motorised vehicle.
• Basic IT skills or willingness to learn.
• Level 2 English or above.
• First aid and health & safety knowledge is advantageous but not essential.
• Training will be provided, including Level 3 First Aid at Work.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, security, cleaning and emergency response tasks across the college.
• Work with colleagues and students to promote high-quality customer service, flexibility and responsiveness.
• Operate within a rotating shift cycle (Mon–Fri, 6am–10pm, no nights/weekends).
