Facilities Services Manager (107jc) – Newcastle upon Tyne – Up to £38k + Benefits
This client, one of the city’s oldest and leading institutes of learning, covering education from Year 3 to Year 13 (Sixth Form), is seeking to recruit a Facilities Services Manager to join their team.
This role offers the chance to contribute to operational excellence, ensuring smooth day-to-day management while fostering collaboration across the entire school community. Whether your background is in facilities management, property, or a related field, we’re looking for someone who brings passion, leadership, and a strong focus on service delivery.
You will report to the Head of Facilities and Estate, who is also an Army Veteran.
The candidate is ideally a SNCO with an RQMS background, capable of managing a team of about 30 personnel, including Caretakers, maintenance staff, grounds personnel, and domestic staff, with 5 direct reports. The position is on a full-term contract, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Salary ranges between £34,000 – £38,000 during term time. Benefits include free lunches on-site, pension scheme, life assurance, personal development opportunities, interest-free travel loan after qualifying, free use of gym and fitness suite, among others.
