Role Summary

To supervise the Facilities Services activities on a daily basis across a small number of site locations within the Eastern Division of the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. Ensuring adequate staffing levels are maintained in accordance with the agreed rotas and shift patterns, to ensure we comply with client requirements and the agreed delivery of service at all times.

We are seeking a Facilities Services Supervisor to join our Community Facilities Team.

Our Community Facilities Services team provide a variety of Soft FM services to the Community Hospitals within the Royal Devon University Healthcare Foundation Trusts Eastern Division. This includes Domestic (Cleaning), Catering, Patient Meal Service and Portering duties.

As a Facilities Services Supervisor, you will lead a team of approximately staff spread across multiple sites with the provision of these services.

You will need to be passionate about cleanliness and keen to ensure our patients are cared for in a safe and clean environment. You should be flexible and enthusiastic with a desire to provide the best environment for our patients and visitors.

We are looking for individuals with experience in leading a team in similar environments and confident in working unsupervised when required. Previous hospital experience is not essential, but you should have a keen eye for detail and supervisory/management experience in cleaning or food service environments.

* Please note, this role requires a FULL UK DRIVING LICENSE and the ability to drive a manual vehicle *

*The base location will be Tiverton Hospital, but this may change upon appointment to another Mid Devon or Exeter Community Hospital Site *
