About the Role

As part of the Resorts leadership team, you will manage internal teams and external service providers to ensure planned and reactive works are completed to high standards. You will oversee all facilities at the resort, including entertainment venues, pools, restaurants, rides, and landscape areas.

The resort covers over 300 acres, with an annual repairs and maintenance budget of approximately GBP 3 million.

This role requires coordination and control to deliver prompt, efficient, and high-quality service. You will ensure compliance with all current statutory legislations and actively implement processes and procedures for continuous improvement.

You should advocate for your team's fulfillment at work, conducting regular 121 meetings and PDP discussions to support their development and career growth at Butlin's. You will manage your budget closely, driving your team to meet KPIs related to sales and costs in line with our business plan, and review these regularly to identify opportunities and risks. Collaboration with operational teams to project guest demand and team requirements is also essential.

As with all roles at Butlin's, adaptability and proactive thinking are vital to ensure guest experience remains a top priority.

About You

We seek an experienced Head of Facilities or Senior Facilities Manager with strong operational knowledge in hard facilities management across various specialisms. A credible background in a similar M&E infrastructure environment, leading large teams capable of managing the day-to-day operations of a busy resort, is essential.

You should have the ability to lead, motivate, and engage your team, even during high-demand periods. Managing multiple priorities and adapting quickly to changing requirements are crucial skills. Experience working with a mix of permanent staff and contractors to deliver excellent standards is required.

With strong leadership skills, you should be confident in inspiring your team to achieve outstanding results for both colleagues and guests every day.
