Discovery Academy is recruiting a permanent Facilities Assistant as part of Alpha Academies Trust. The role focuses on routine general maintenance across the site with strong security awareness.

The post is 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, and requires an enhanced DBS check with no visa sponsorship available. Daily duties include carrying out high-standard maintenance work and assisting the Facilities Team with site security.

Qualifications

• Proven industry experience of routine general maintenance.
• Good understanding of security issues.
• Accurate, confident spoken English to speak with the public, staff and students.
